The Executive Recruiter is responsible for identifying, engaging, and attracting highly qualified talent, including senior and executive-level talent, aligned with Old National’s vision, mission, values and culture. The role partners closely with Senior and Executive Leaders to deliver consultative, high-impact recruiting solutions that support both immediate hiring needs and long-term talent strategy. The Executive Recruiter builds and maintains robust talent pipelines, strengthens Old National’s employment brand, and delivers exceptional candidate experiences through inclusive recruiting practices.

Salary Range

The annual salary range for this position is $81,700-$165,100 plus incentive bonus. The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Actual salary offers within this range may vary based on a number of factors, including the specific responsibilities of the position, the candidate’s relevant skills and professional experience, educational qualifications, and geographic location.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Consult and partner strategically with Senior and Executive Leaders to understand business priorities, leadership expectations, and current and future talent needs.
  • Collaborate with designated Talent Strategy Directors to align executive recruiting efforts with long-term workforce planning, succession strategies, and talent assessment.
  • Provide thought leadership and market insight to inform hiring strategies and executive-level talent decisions.
  • Lead full-cycle recruitment for complex professional, senior, and executive-level roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection and offer negotiation.
  • Develop and execute proactive sourcing strategies using direct outreach, industry networking, referrals, digital platforms, and targeted events.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships hiring managers and candidates to support future hiring needs and strategies.
  • Design and execute inclusive recruitment strategies that support affirmative action and equal employment opportunity obligations through compliance sourcing, outreach, and recruiting processes; and proactively identify qualified applicant pools through a broad range of outreach channels.
  • Maintain, process, and update candidate records throughout the interview process in the applicant tracking system.
  • Represent Old National as a brand ambassador at industry, community, and networking events by articulating the organization’s story, culture, and value proposition to strengthen employer brand awareness and talent networks.
  • Ensure all recruiting activities comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations and with company policies and procedures.
  • Participate in recruitment meetings and cross-functional forums to ensure alignment, communication and consistency in recruiting practices across regions.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or minimum of 7 years of full-cycle recruitment experience required.
  • Proven experience partnering with senior-level and executive leaders.
  • Strong sourcing, outreach and relationship-building capabilities, including engaging passive talent.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent time management skills, the ability to manage multiple priorities, and a strong sense of urgency and commitment.
  • Financial services recruiting experience preferred.
  • Understanding of market trends and emerging technologies
  • Experience using advanced search techniques and sourcing strategies.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of federal, state, and EEO/affirmative action requirements related to hiring and recruitment practices.
  • Experience with applicant tracking systems and recruiting technologies.
  • Experience partnering with external search firms preferred.
  • Experience working with Commercial Relationship Manager and Wealth Management candidates preferred.
