Job description

Job title: Cycling Instructor.
Location: Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.
Type of job: Part-Time Position.
Schedule: (Monday-Friday) 4 classes a week.
Duties:
The candidate should:
  • Lead approximately 3 group exercise classes per week.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive environment for all participants, adhering to facility guidelines and dress standards.
  • Demonstrate proper exercise techniques and provide modifications as needed to accommodate varying fitness levels.
  • Collaborate with Fitness Lead to ensure seamless class operations and substitute coverage as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with the Fitness Program Manager and other staff regarding class schedules, participant feedback, and any concerns or issues.

Requirements:
  • Shall maintain current certification in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED).
  • Certified Cycling Instructor with a minimum of 6 months of teaching experience.
  • Ability to effectively manage class logistics and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Ability to demonstrate exercises and movements with proper form.
  • Comfortable working in a fitness facility environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
