Automotive Body Shop Technician Responsibilities
• Repair vehicles per estimate and according to manufacturer standards
• Check parts against estimates and ensure proper parts are received
• Prepare vehicles for body repair work
• Notify management of any additional repairs needed
• Communicate any difficulties or issues that may impact repair quality or completion times
• Maintain tools and equipment in a proper state of repair
• Perform repairs with a focus on quality, safety, and customer satisfaction
Automotive Body Shop Technician Requirements
• Previous body shop experience preferred
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Highly organized with excellent communication skills
• Valid driver's license required
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 70 pounds
• High School Diploma or GED required
