Seasonal Housekeeper (First Shift)

StayLakeNorman Luxury Vacation Rentals | Mooresville, NC


StayLakeNorman is a premier provider of luxury vacation home experiences, committed to delivering exceptional service and unforgettable stays. We are seeking detail-oriented and dependable Seasonal Housekeepers to join our team and help maintain the high standards our guests and homeowners expect.


Responsibilities

Cleaning & Property Preparation

  • Perform detailed cleaning of vacation homes before and after guest stays
  • Ensure all spaces—including kitchens, bathrooms, bedrooms, and living areas—are fully guest-ready
  • Pay close attention to high-touch surfaces, presentation, and overall cleanliness

Exterior & Guest-Ready Setup

  • Prepare exterior areas including patios, entryways, and outdoor furniture
  • Ensure exterior spaces are clean, staged, and aligned with SLN standards

Linen & Supply Management

  • Restock linens, towels, and approved amenities per property standards
  • Conduct house supply checks and report low inventory or damaged items
  • Ensure property-specific linens and items are properly placed

Quality & Reporting

  • Identify and report any maintenance issues, damages, or missing items promptly
  • Support overall property condition by flagging anything that does not meet SLN standards

Guest Interaction (As Needed)

  • Maintain a professional and friendly presence if interacting with guests onsite
  • Represent StayLakeNorman with a hospitality-first mindset


Qualifications
  • Previous housekeeping experience preferred (hospitality or vacation rental experience is a plus)
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  • Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
  • Strong communication skills


Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and move for extended periods throughout the shift


Requirements
  • Valid and current driver’s license
  • Reliable transportation
  • Availability to work weekends and holidays as needed


Compensation & Benefits
  • Starting at $20/hour
  • Accrued Paid Time Off (PTO) – Hourly teammates begin accruing PTO upon hire, with eligibility to use after 30 days, in accordance with company policy
  • Performance-based bonuses

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
  • Employment will be conducted in accordance with all applicable North Carolina labor laws and regulations, including wage and hour requirements
  • Seasonal employment classification will follow state and federal guidelines
