Hospice Sales Representative Location: Fredericksburg, VA Territory: Spotsylvania, Stafford, King George, Westmoreland, and Orange Counties Compensation: Highly competitive base compensation + uncapped commission opportunity We are working with a respected hospice provider in the Conway area that is looking for a motivated, relationship-driven Hospice Sales Representative to support growth across multiple counties. This is a strong opportunity for an experienced hospice or healthcare sales professional who enjoys building relationships, working in the community, and helping patients and families better understand the value of hospice care. The right person will bring a compassionate approach, strong follow-through, and the ability to develop trust with referral partners across the healthcare community. This organization offers a supportive, mission-driven culture where teamwork, compassion, and quality care matter. They are looking for someone who believes in hospice, enjoys connecting with people, and wants to be part of a team that takes pride in serving patients and families well. Position Overview The Hospice Salesperson will be responsible for developing and maintaining referral relationships. This role will work closely with physicians, hospitals, discharge planners, case managers, skilled nursing facilities, social workers, community partners, patients, and families to increase awareness of hospice services and support appropriate referrals. This is a good fit for someone who is comfortable in the field, enjoys professional outreach, understands healthcare referral development, and can represent hospice services with warmth, confidence, and credibility. Qualifications Minimum two years of sales, marketing, business development, liaison, or referral development experience in healthcare required. Hospice, palliative care, home health, senior living, hospital, post-acute, or related healthcare experience strongly preferred. Healthcare service sales experience required; outside referral development experience is strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree preferred; additional relevant experience may be considered in place of degree. Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with physicians, healthcare professionals, facility leadership, community partners, and referral sources. Strong communication, follow-through, and relationship-building skills. Comfortable working independently in the field while staying connected to the broader team. Prior clinical experience is a plus, but not required. Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance required.
