ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Independent Golf Sales Representative representing Mizzen+Main, you will be responsible for managing your own territory's green grass book of business in Arizona, customer relationships, and all aspects of the sales process for existing and new accounts. The ideal candidate should be a self-starter with knowledge of the golf industry and a passion for golf apparel. The Independent Sales Representative - Golf Division will report to the Golf Account Executive (internal channel lead).

This is a remote, 1099 independent contractor role offering unlimited commission potential.

A DAY IN THE LIFE

  • Driving and executing sales in your territory. Key elements of success include, but are not limited to:
    • Develop and strengthen relationships with partners through consistent communication and interaction with regular in-store visits and events
    • Completing product training for both in season and pre-book lines; ensure accounts understand the value proposition and brand differentiation
  • Assist accounts with visual merchandising and inventory management
  • Manage all pertinent regional trade shows and events within the territory; participate in national shows and events as needed (e.g. PGA Show)
  • Prospecting and opening new accounts to support sales growth and align to the Brand
  • Present opportunities for soft shops or fixtures in order to create a bigger brand moment, as well as tournament opportunities
  • Maintain clear visibility of business performance and provide supervisor regular reporting on both quantitative metrics and qualitative feedback from accounts
  • Contributing to the culture and success of Mizzen+Main

WHAT YOU'LL NEED

  • Bachelor's degree with experience in golf, retail, or sales
  • Existing key relationships with golf buyers in your territory
  • Required to live in your territory
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Detail oriented, extremely well organized with strong time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with online Google products (Forms and Docs) is a plus
