Job description

Job Title: Freight Forwarding ,Trucking & 3PL Sales Executiv

Industry: Logistics / Transportation / Supply Chain/Freight Forwarding/3PL /Trucking

Compensation: Competitive base salary + uncapped commission

Position Overview:

We are seeking a high-performing Sales Executive with experience in freight forwarding and third-party logistics (3PL) to help drive revenue growth and expand market share. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of international and domestic transportation services, including air, ocean, and ground freight, as well as warehousing and fulfillment solutions.

A book of business or transferable client relationships is highly advantageous and will be strongly considered in compensation and territory planning.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively identify and close new business opportunities across freight forwarding and 3PL verticals.
  • Leverage existing industry contacts and relationships to accelerate customer acquisition and revenue generation.
  • Present tailored logistics solutions to importers, exporters, and supply chain stakeholders.
  • Build long-term client relationships by providing exceptional service and proactive communication.
  • Collaborate with operations, pricing, and account management teams to ensure successful onboarding and execution.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, pricing shifts, and competitor activity in key trade lanes and sectors.
  • Manage the full sales cycle including lead generation, proposal development, negotiations, and closing.
  • Maintain accurate records in the CRM system and report regularly on pipeline activity and forecasting.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3-5 years of direct sales experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or 3PL.
  • Demonstrated success in revenue generation and client retention.
  • Strong understanding of international shipping, including Incoterms, documentation, and compliance.
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Proficient in using CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Preferred Attributes:
  • Book of business in freight forwarding or logistics - highly desirable.
  • Experience across key industries: retail, automotive, pharmaceuticals, aerospace, etc.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus.
