Who we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced business development professional to help expand our pipeline and exposure to potential clients throughout the greater New York and New Jersey areas.  Your role will be pivotal in the acquisition of new business leads and for driving company growth through outreach and industry relevant B2B connections and engagement.  Ideally, you will have a very intimate understanding of the technical industry relevant to our services and be able to apply your experience in developing business leads into real sales results that drive company size and revenue.  

Responsibilities:

  • Implement and execute strategic business growth initiatives that align with our goals and services;
  • Identify new markets, growth opportunities, and potential industry relevant clients;
  • Engage with initial introduction and sales pitch to key decision makers in relevant firms;
  • Research and pin-point markets in need of our services;
  • Work with our team to negotiate and close deals following initial introduction;
  • Partner with our team to explore and find alternative opportunities relating to our services;

Minimum Skills/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or related field with 5+ years of experience in work relating to technical services, sales, or dealing with outreach to industrial clients;
  • Strong B2B experience and the ability to navigate the entire sales process from discovery to contract signing;
  • Ability to be productive without active management directives or oversight;
  • Strong written, verbal, and presentation skills that enable you to communicate our services to key technical and executive decision-makers;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be clear, confident, and creative throughout the sales process;
  • Strong understanding of technical terms and how the industries that rely on electrical engineering and systems automation function;
  • Ability to be resourceful and navigate various market sectors and avenues to drive business growth;
  • Strong experience in general sales.

Additional Information:
The compensation for this business development role will be percentage-based commission on successful deals/contracts. 
This role can be performed remotely granted satisfactory job performance, but prefer someone who can be present for meeting potential partners/clients for sales engagement.
