We are looking for a dynamic individual to join our team as Field Service Engineer at our Poestenkill, NY site.

The role:

As a Field Service Engineer, you will serve as a key technical representative supporting customers across global sites. This role is critical in maintaining system performance, resolving complex technical issues, and strengthening long-term customer relationships. You will work closely with internal engineering and production teams while delivering high-impact service in the field.

This position requires a strong electrical foundation, practical troubleshooting skills, and the ability to operate independently in dynamic environments.

Here are some of the responsibilities of the position:

  • Commission, troubleshoot, and repair equipment at customer sites globally
  • Perform root cause analysis on electrical systems and implement corrective actions
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics to diagnose system issues
  • Support system configuration, calibration, and final validation both in-house and onsite
  • Partner with internal engineering teams to resolve escalated technical challenges
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and provide technical feedback for continuous improvement
  • Deliver high-quality customer support while managing multiple service priorities

Requirements:
  • B.S. in Electrical Engineering or a related technical field
  • 3+ years of hands-on field service or technical support experience
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting skills with mechanical aptitude
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics independently
  • Experience with tools such as multimeters, oscilloscopes; programming knowledge is a plus
  • Willingness and ability to travel internationally
  • Experience in aviation, battery technology, advanced manufacturing, or similar industries is a plus
  • Exposure to 3D printing or precision equipment environments is an advantage
  • Strong problem-solving mindset with the ability to work independently and in team settings
