As the leader of autonomous vehicle solutions in industry and aviation, TractEasy is successfully and rapidly growing its

business in the North America region. To match the needs for deployment, maintenance, support and training, we are

looking for a skilled Field Service Engineer based in Salt Lake City. As experts on our autonomous vehicle solutions, our

Field Service Engineers are either based at a client site or frequently travelling to other customer sites and help grow

and scale our business with their skills and knowledge.


Mission

As part of the global Field Services team, you as a Field Service Engineer (Deployment Engineer) will be responsible for deploying and

maintaining a fleet of vehicles in the Salt Lake City area. You will be the first Engineer based in this location with

additional employees joining the regional team as the company grows.


You are TractEasy’s face to our customers, keeping our autonomous vehicles in operations and our customer

satisfaction on highest levels. You will be leveraging your skills on-site, via remote support as well as with training

programs to help our customers achieve operational excellence with our autonomous vehicle solutions. You therefore

are a key part of TractEasy’s future success by driving the continuous improvement of our processes and best practices,

based on the knowledge and experience you’ll gain – both on-the-ground and at our company office in Denver.


Activities

Your responsibilities will include:

● Coordinating and performing the deployment and entry into service of our autonomous vehicles, with the

support of the dedicated Project Manager

● Managing the vehicle’s commissioning process, validating the vehicle setup, it’s deployment and the in the

product support / improvement with your hands-on feedback

● Performing mechanical and electrical maintenance interventions on the vehicles whenever necessary

● Hands-on installation and configuration of autonomous hardware and software components as needed

● Delivering basic and advanced training sessions, assisting trained customers in the operation and deployment

of TractEasy’s autonomous vehicles

● Providing remote assistance to our customers through our support system

● Participating, along with the Project Manager, on the on-road authorization processes, by performing tests and

delivering documentation to the relevant authorities / regulatory bodies

● Reporting of risks, issues and variations in project scope, as well as supporting the development and

implementation of risk management and mitigation plans

● Participating in the continuous improvement of our autonomous vehicle solutions – from deployment to

maintenance to best practices in operations

Requirements

Technician/Bachelor Degree in the Automotive or Robotic or similar field is required

● At least 2 years of experience as technician or engineer in the automotive, robotic or similar industries.

● Possess a valid drivers license

● Clean background check


Technical skills

● Automotive, robotic or similar field maintenance knowledge

● Appetite for cutting-edge automation technology

● Basic knowledge of CanBus technology, vehicle maintenance, electrical systems and hydraulic systems is a

plus


Soft skills

● Good presentation and communication skills
