ISN Corp is actively seeking Background Investigators to support a Federal Background Investigation Program. Investigators will conduct comprehensive federal background investigations in accordance with the federal agency and federal standards to support national security and public trust missions.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Conduct federal background investigations, including subject interviews and record reviews
  • Perform interviews with references, employers, neighbors, and other sources
  • Review and analyze records (criminal, employment, education, financial, and other public records)
  • Prepare accurate, thorough, and timely written investigative reports
  • Meet strict quality, timeliness, and compliance standards
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately
  • Use government-provided systems and adhere to investigative guidelines
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Work independently and manage multiple cases
  • Proficiency with investigative reporting systems and Microsoft Office tools


Required Qualifications:


  • At least one (1) year of federal background investigation experience
  • Must reside in California
