Link Media Outdoor, one of the fastest-growing Out of Home (OOH) media companies in the United States, is seeking an experienced General Manager to lead our Oklahoma market. As a wholly owned subsidiary of Boston Omaha Corporation (NYSE: BOC), LINK owns and operates billboard assets across Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Iowa, Illinois, Kansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Nevada, Oklahoma, Virginia, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a driven, results-oriented leader with billboard industry experience to oversee a growing market, lead a high-performing team, and contribute to the continued success of a rapidly expanding organization.

Billboard Industry Experience Required

This position will initially be based in Green Bay, WI.

Position Summary

The General Manager is responsible for the overall leadership and performance of the market, including revenue growth, expense management, operational excellence, and team development. This role oversees sales, operations, administration, and personnel while ensuring the market meets or exceeds financial and strategic objectives.

This position also requires proven sales experience, as the General Manager will play an active role in driving revenue growth. In addition to overseeing market operations, the General Manager is expected to maintain a personal book of business, cultivate new and existing customer relationships, identify sales opportunities, and contribute directly to achieving market sales objectives. Successful candidates must demonstrate a strong track record in both sales leadership and individual sales performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership to achieve revenue goals, manage expenses, and drive EBITDA growth.
  • Maintain and actively grow a personal book of business, serving as an individual contributor while leading the market's overall sales efforts and revenue growth initiatives.
  • Develop and execute strategic business plans to measure and improve market performance.
  • Protect company assets and ensure operational efficiency.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement and foster a culture of continuous growth and innovation.
  • Oversee sales, operations, accounting, creative, and administrative functions.
  • Lead, coach, and develop managers and team members to promote a positive and productive work environment.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to review goals, performance, challenges, and successes.

  • Oversee recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and development of employees.
  • Promote ethical business practices and uphold the company’s reputation in the marketplace.
  • Ensure quality control of advertising artwork and campaign execution.
  • Monitor contract accuracy, commission payments, and pricing approvals.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • Billboard industry experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
