Job description

COMPANY PROFILE

Primoris Energy Services is a major direct-hire contractor in the U.S. delivering self-performed turnkey industrial construction and EPC services. We offer these services to our clients within the refining, gas processing, chemical/petrochemical, hydrogen, power generation, mining, pulp and paper industries from the first groundbreaking activity all the way through commissioning and start-up of the project. Primoris forms a partnership with our customers and major stakeholders from early-stage engineering through construction completion and commercial operation, safely, on-time, and within budget.

SUMMARY

Reporting functionally to the HR Manager and operationally to the Project Manager, the Bilingual Project HR Advisor is responsible for monitoring and addressing on-site manpower requirements. This role partners closely with project management and site supervision to resolve HR-related issues and ensure effective workforce support throughout the project lifecycle.

The position will be based at project sites across the United States. Depending on project assignment, per diem may be provided in accordance with eligibility requirements. Initially, the role will begin in an office or remote setting with the corporate HR team, followed by transition to an assigned project site upon award.

JOB DUTIES

  • Ensure manpower requisitions are accurately completed by supervisors and receive appropriate approvals
  • Provide supervisors with candidate resumes for review and approval, as needed
  • Manage pre-employment requirements for prospective hires, including drug screenings, background checks, qualification verification, and safety training
  • Coordinate with internal departments to facilitate candidate mobilization to project sites
  • Partner with the recruitment team to support targeted hiring initiatives and assist with hard-to-fill or specialized roles
  • Deliver HR-related training to supervisors and provide coaching to all levels of site leadership
  • Enforce and ensure adherence to site disciplinary policies
  • Guide supervision and project management in following company policies and procedures, offering HR support as needed
  • Process employee lifecycle actions, including terminations, layoffs, compensation changes, and promotions
  • Maintain compliance with trade certifications and required documentation
  • Ensure adherence to both client and company policies and standards
  • Support general site administrative functions and provide cross-coverage as needed
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management

QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS

  • 3 - 5 years’ experience in the industry of industrial construction/oil and gas, specifically with project site HR advisory experience preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources; equivalent combinations of education and experience considered
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across all organizational levels
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish
  • Willing and able to travel and work on-site at project locations
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Solid understanding of employment and labor laws, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality
  • Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail and time management skills

A SHRM or PHR designation (or working towards a designation) would be considered an asset.
