Essential Duties & Responsibilities 

Own the overall business performance of assigned product lines, including revenue growth, gross margin, margin expansion, vitality, market share, and profitability.

Develop and execute product line strategies aligned with business objectives, customer needs, market trends, and long-term growth opportunities.

Lead product lifecycle management activities including product introductions, portfolio optimization, product rationalization, and discontinuation decisions.

Establish and execute value-based pricing strategies that maximize profitability and capture the value delivered to customers.

Lead pricing governance processes including quote approvals, margin improvement initiatives, price increase implementation, and management of pricing exceptions.

Monitor and analyze product, customer, and market profitability to identify and prioritize actions that improve business performance.

Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and execute profitability improvement initiatives.

Drive commercialization of new products and technologies from concept through launch and market adoption.

Collaborate with Marketing, R&D, Sales, Operations, and customers to develop solutions aligned with key secular growth trends, emerging technologies, and market opportunities.

Ensure innovation projects are supported by robust business cases, commercialization plans, and clearly defined financial objectives.

Partner with Manufacturing and Operations teams to ensure successful scale-up, qualification, and commercialization of new products.

Lead cross-functional efforts to resolve product supply, quality, and manufacturing challenges that impact customer satisfaction or business results.

Develop accurate demand forecasts and business outlooks for assigned product portfolios

Support annual operating plans and strategic planning activities through market, financial, and portfolio analysis.

Lead and/or participate in negotiations related to customer agreements, supply contracts, rebate programs, strategic partnerships, and key supplier relationships.

Evaluate the financial impact of contractual agreements and ensure alignment with profitability, growth, and strategic objectives.

Partner with Commercial teams on key account strategies and participate in executive customer engagements as needed.

Maintain strong relationships with customers, suppliers, industry stakeholders, and strategic partners to identify growth opportunities and emerging market needs.

Gather and translate customer, market, competitive, and financial insights into actionable business strategies and investment priorities.

Establishes clear measurement and management of product profitability, and proactive management of product mix.

Drive accountability and execution across functions to ensure successful achievement of growth, profitability, and commercialization objectives.

Ensure products comply with applicable regulatory, environmental, health, safety, and industry requirements.

Supports and is committed to Avient's LSS improvement process. Plans strategies to ensure error-free work and conveys this attitude in the daily performance of various duties.

Measure and track key business metrics including revenue, gross margin, vitality, profitability, market share, sales forecasts, and return on investment.

Develop and implement the strategic marketing direction for the product platforms

Experience in any of the following end markets: Building & Construction, Energy, Electrical, RV, Marine, and Outdoor High Performance/Consumer
