Job description

Position Summary

Connects Brand and Marketing, external brand partners, Field Sales and frontline selling teams to support POS, merchandising and commercialization needs. Oversees POS budgets, IRC coordination, POS inventory visibility and creative print request support to drive accurate execution, brand consistency, company sales and profitability. 

Essential Functions

  • Works in Collaboration with Field Sales, Retail Sales & On-Premise teams to support customer set up, product launches, merchandising execution and national and regional chain POS needs, with focus on launch readiness, POS availability, retail execution support and clear communication across internal teams. 
  • Collaborates with Brand, AdCo, Field Sales and Retail Sales for all go-to market POS. 
  • Manages budgets, ordering, and vetting forecasts of all POS, advertising materials and equipment for retail and On-Premise in coordination with established company standards. 
  • Leads, develops and supervises the CE POS Tool to track and survey marketplace execution; and collaborates with IT on continued development.  
  • Works closely with CPOS Team to ensure all temp and perm POS products are accurately entered into the CE inventory management system for full visibility, tracking and reporting. 
  • Ensures we have all POS needs in house and available for Local sales support teams in advance of product launches.
  • Works in collaboration with Brand team to develop Look of success and provide launch readiness communication. 
  • Tracks and surveys marketplace execution of company merchandising standards, distribution, POS and IRCs, including timing, accuracy and execution quality. 
  • Provides communication to Local sales support team relevant National & Regional chain programs.   
  • Supports the planning, coordination, ordering and distribution of CoMMET, POLR, and other internal and external POS programs in partnership with appropriate cross-functional teams. 
  • Works with Vice President; Brand & Marketing, and Director, Brand Strategy & Development to develop clear vision for all POS of product launches and innovation.  
  • Ensures we have all equipment needs in house and available for Local sales support teams in advance of actual reset.
  • Recaps execution of all POS and permanent fixctures materials to Director, Vice President and Senior Vice President.

Education Level

Associate's Degree in sales, marketing or related field or equivalent work experience required; Bachelor's degree in sales, marketing or related field strongly preferred.

 

Experience

5-7 years of beverage industry sales experience combined with large and small format sales experience. 

 

Computer Skills

Must be proficient in the Microsoft Office Suite with strong Excel skills.

 

Certificates & Licenses

Valid Driver's License; employee must be insurable to operate a vehicle, as a condition of initial and continued employment.

Additional Requirements

Knowledge of: retail sales environment; beverage industry; Microsoft Office Suite; day to day activities within the sales department; customer wiring. Skill in: internal and external customer service; training and coaching.
