Job Summary:

The Assistant Manager, Americas Brand Commercialization will support strategic commercialization priorities for consumer products and retail channels across the Americas region, with a focus on Disney and Pixar brands. This role will support brand and category strategies through collaborative partnerships with Disney and Pixar content partners, global brand teams, category and retail teams, marketing strategy, PR, and other key stakeholders across DCP.

In this position, you will sit in Glendale, CA and report to the Senior Manager, Americas Brand Commercialization.

Responsibilities include:

  • Support strategic brand priorities across the Americas for assigned consumer products portfolios

  • Assist in developing regional brand plans, track KPIs for assigned properties, and build deep Americas brand expertise for the assigned portfolio

  • Apply brand knowledge to review marketing collateral submitted by licensees and retail partners, ensuring alignment with brand guidelines

  • Craft compelling content and marketing presentations and confidently present them to internal and external partners, including key licensees and retailers

  • Manage projects to meet key milestones based on business needs

  • Track licensee and retailer support for licensed merchandise tied to key evergreen properties and new content releases

  • Identify gaps in retail support for assigned portfolio and work with cross-functional partners to develop solutions to address

  • Escalate when deliverables are off calendar in a timely manner

  • Think strategically and with a solution-oriented approach

  • Liaise with licensees and retailers as needed to support brand priorities, approvals, and key commercialization milestones

  • Support and help coordinate sensitive early asset delivery process

  • Continually evaluate processes to improve ways of working, maximize efficiencies, and leverage technology where appropriate

  • Build relationships with global and regional partners, ensuring timely, transparent communication and alignment across key touchpoints

  • Act as a key day-to-day contact for internal cross-functional partners, helping manage communication, follow-ups, and alignment

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of brand/franchise, licensing, or retail sales experience

  • Ability to create and present engaging presentations. Presentation experience to large groups required

  • Excellent communication skills and confident presence

  • Strategic thinker with attention to detail

  • Ability to collaborate, influence and persuade at all levels across an organization

  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities with the skills to work in a fast-paced environment

  • Comfortable working through a matrix structure to deliver the end solution

  • Agile and responsive - can thrive in ambiguous business situations

  • Understanding of Disney brands and the broader organization

Required Education:

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related field or equivalent experience

The hiring range for this position based in Glendale, CA is $95,500.00-$128,000.00. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, depending on the level and position offered.
