SUMMARY
The Commercial HVAC Sales Manager is responsible for leading and expanding our Commercial HVAC business in the assigned region, this would include achieving sales and margin plans for all lines of business. Key responsibilities include leading a high-performing sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and delivering solutions that meet the specific needs of key clients. This role involves working closely with a network of business partners, including commercial representatives, engineers, architects, and mechanical contractors, to drive business growth and profitability. The successful candidate will have a strategic focus, with proven experience in executing sales strategies for revenue growth and expense control.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement market strategies to drive growth across all product lines.
  • Lead and Manage Sales Engineers and Inside Sales Engineers to achieve monthly sales and performance objectives.
  • Develop and cultivate relationships with Commercial customers and Mechanical Contractors.
  • Implement and manage sales programs and promotions.
  • Partner with regional leadership to devise and deploy sales objectives and goals for the assigned market.
  • Work with Carrier's regional manager on marketing budget and inventory
  • Develop strong working relationships internally with cross functional teams and externally with key contacts
  • Develop and manage delivery of on-going training and education programs for the sales team
  • Supervise staff, organize, assign, and monitor work processes.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned area

Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with B2B sales in HVAC, construction, control systems, ductless and/or VRF Technology. Use business software tools to uncover prospects.
  • Minimum of 3+ years' experience in progressive leadership with increasing responsibility
  • An undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar technical discipline
  • Graduate Degree MBA or related MS degree preferred
  • Solid understanding of HVAC principles

  • Use business software tools to uncover prospects.
  • Exceptional leadership, communication, judgment, and strategic planning abilities.
  • Ability to persuade, convince, influence, and impress others.
  • Strong executive leadership presence and business acumen.
