Shockwave Medical is looking for a Senior Sales Operations Analyst to join its world class team. This role is responsible for analyzing complex data, generating both conclusions and recommendations, and effectively communicating those to decision-makers. The current environment is best suited for someone with a passion for improving existing processes and who has the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced growing organization. In this role, you'll be working with commercial leaders to drive data-based decisions and implement solutions to improve commercial performance.

Responsibilities

Analysis & Reporting

  • Interpret, self-direct, and prioritize execution of incoming requests for analysis projects.

  • Conduct analyses, develop conclusions & communicate recommendations to Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Finance.

  • Create, monitor, support and oversee reports and dashboards in Excel, Salesforce, and PowerBI.

  • Work with large data sets, glean intelligence from data, draw conclusions, and enabling recommendations to key stakeholder groups.

Core Processes & Project Support

  • Own key commercial operations initiatives including compensation, quota, business planning, reporting, territory design and other projects.

  • Exhibit advanced broad experience to develop and resolve complex models and procedures.

  • Partner with different stakeholders to build and streamline commercial operations processes.

  • Support sales, finance, and commercial operations teams by collecting and organizing data to inform and drive decisions.

  • Identify needs, develop and implement standardized tools, methodologies, and processes aimed at improving operational efficiency.

  • Provide mentorship to other analysts on specific projects

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in business/technical field or demonstrated relevant experience.MBA is a plus.

  • 10+ years' experience in Sales Operations, Finance, or other analytical function.

  • Ability to efficiently read in data, analyze, and present data using Python, R, or SQL a plus. Experience in medical device or other life sciences industry is preferred.

  • Utilizes education and work experience to become subject matter expert in areas of expertise and within tasks.

  • Self-motivated and able to prioritize work effectively and independently.

  • Ability to efficiently and effectively handle multiple and shifting priorities.

  • Highly organized with strong time management skills.

  • Strong attention to detail.

  • Able to generate conclusions from analyses to drive decisions and able to communicate those to diverse audiences both verbally and in writing.

  • Able to understand and clarify ambiguous stakeholder requests.

  • Able to solve complex problems with strong intellectual curiosity.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :

$109,000.00 - $174,800.00

Additional Description for Pay Transparency:

Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
Sick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado -48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington -56 hours per calendar year
Holiday pay, including Floating Holidays -13 days per calendar year
Work, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar year
Parental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a child
Bereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar year
Caregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period10 days
Volunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar year
Military Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar year
