Here's Where You Come In...

The Commercial Associate Account Manager provides administrative and clerical support to the Commercial Channelthroughcustomer service, client record maintenance, andassistancewith special projects, as assigned.

Role Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate the servicing of assigned accounts with the Account Manager

  • Enter data as required by insurance company automationsystems

  • Provide support to the Account Manager on pre-renewalprocesses

  • Handle correspondence and the clerical processing of accounts including applications and computer input of eachaccount

  • Conduct business in a manner thatdemonstratesan understanding of both the business and earnings implications of theCompany

  • Prepare invoices, transmittals, ID cards, certificates of insurance, binders, and cancellation forms asrequired

  • Review and process change requests in the agency managementsystem

  • Check policies and endorsements for completeness and accuracy. Prepare policies for policy check and delivery toclients

  • Maintainan accuratesuspense system on all items that require aresponse

  • Responsible for scanning/electronic filing of communications and documents

  • Input/maintaindata on account management system and ancillary systems asrequired

  • Other responsibilities as assigned by Account Manager

  • 2 years of insurance background or work in a professional office environment

  • Intermediate skill level with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Word,Excel,etc.)

  • Ability & desire to take ownership of role expectations with accountability to internal and externalclients

  • Intermediate insurance knowledge with proven ability to apply same to your dailywork

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
