Position Summary:
The Retail.com Media Manager will be responsible for leading the strategy, execution, and optimization of retail media investments across key retail partners such as Macy's, Costco, Kohl's, and other emerging beauty retail media networks This role will manage full-funnel retail media programs designed to drive incremental sales, traffic, and share growth across retailer digital platforms.
The ideal candidate is a strong performance marketer with hands-on experience across sponsored search, onsite display, offsite retail media extensions, and co-op funded media programs, with a proven ability to partner cross-functionally with brand teams, retailers, and agency partners.
This role will operate with a high degree of autonomy and is expected to proactively identify growth opportunities, optimization strategies, and operational improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
Retail Media Strategy & Execution
  • Own the development and execution of retail media plans across assigned retail.com partners (e.g., Macy's, Kohl's, Costco, etc.).
  • Drive full-funnel media strategy including onsite search, display, and offsite retail media activation.
  • Ensure media investments align with brand priorities, product launches, seasonal moments, and promotional calendars.

Campaign Management & Optimization
  • Manage day-to-day campaign setup, pacing, and performance optimization across retailer media platforms.
  • Monitor KPIs including ROAS, sales lift, new-to-brand metrics, traffic, and conversion.
  • Implement testing roadmaps to continuously improve performance and efficiency.
  • Maintain flexibility across channels and tactics, adjusting monthly investment based on performance, retailer opportunities, and evolving business needs.

Budget Ownership & Co-op Management
  • Oversee retail media budgets, including co-op funding, allocations and monthly forecasting.
  • Ensure accurate budget tracking, reflows, and end-of-month actualization in partnership with finance and internal stakeholders.
  • Identify opportunities to scale investment based on performance and retailer growth potential.

Retailer & Agency Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for retailer media teams and external agency partners.
  • Lead quarterly business reviews, performance recaps, and strategic planning discussions with retailers.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless execution across merchandising, e-commerce, and brand marketing.

Measurement & Reporting
  • Evaluate media effectiveness through incremental sales, share growth, and retailer contribution and translate insights into actionable recommendations.
  • Leverage tools and platforms (e.g., Pacvue, Criteo, retailer dashboards) to deliver actionable recommendations.
  • Support broader measurement frameworks linking retail media to omnichannel impact.

Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate closely with brand teams, e-commerce, sales, finance, and creative partners to drive integrated retail growth.
  • Provide strategic guidance on retail media best practices and emerging opportunities across the organization.

Qualifications Required:
  • 4-6 years of experience in retail media, e-commerce advertising, or performance marketing.
  • Hands-on experience managing sponsored ads and retail media campaigns across retail platforms.
  • Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into insights and actions.
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting, and performance reporting.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in CPG, beauty, consumer electronics, or omnichannel retail environments.
  • Familiarity with retail media tools such as Pacvue, Skai, CommerceIQ, or similar.
  • Knowledge of co-op funding structures and joint business planning processes.
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
