Vitamix is seeking a Sr. Manager, Amazon who will shape and execute the strategic roadmap for the company’s Amazon 1P and 3P ecosystem. This role is the senor day-to-day operating leader for Amazon, owning the channel’s data and analytics and co-developing the strategy and annual operating plan in partnership with the Director.

This role serves as the connective tissue between the Amazon business and Vitamix’s Media, Brand, Finance, Supply Chain and Operations teams, translating strategy into one aligned commercial plan. The Sr. Manager is expected to challenge the status quo, not simply run the business as it exists today. This position will establish the operating plan, performance standards, and cross-functional model required to deliver Amazon strategy.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Co-develop Amazon (1P & 3P) strategy and annual operation plan with the Director, setting multi-year growth priorities.
  • Own and refine the Amazon operating model: cadence, decision rights, governance, and performance routines.
  • Continuously challenge the status quo and drive improvements to strategy, processes, and organizational alignment.
  • Own channel data and analytics as the single source of truth (sales, traffic, conversion, pricing, promotions, inventory, Buy Box, competitiveness).
  • Convert data into clear insights, financial impact assessments, and prioritized corrective actions.
  • Align media, brand, content and promotional plans into an integrated commercial strategy; influence retail media investment to meet sales and profitability targets.
  • Validate and govern forecasts; partner with Finance and Supply Chain to reconcile demand, profitability, inventory, and trade-offs.
  • Lead joint business planning and vendor negotiation strategy; prepare executive reviews and materials.
  • Manage, coach, and develop the Amazon team and external partners/agencies; set priorities, expectations, and accountability.

  • Deep understanding of Amazon 1P and 3P economics, Buy Box dynamics, pricing, promotions, assortment, product lifecycle, catalog health, and marketplace operations
  • Strong financial acumen, including revenue, contribution margin, trade investment, promotional effectiveness, and ASIN-level profitability
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with the ability to translate large datasets into executive insights and recommendations
  • Working knowledge of Amazon retail media, including sponsored ads, DSP, ROAS, TACoS, attribution, and incrementality
  • Familiarity with tools such as Helium 10, Stackline, CommerceIQ, Profitero, Tableau, or similar platforms

Other Requirements:

  • Challenging the Status Quo: Not content to run inherited strategy and processes; critically evaluates whether the current approach is right and has the conviction to recommend and drive a better one
  • Strategic & Commercial Thinking: Sets channel direction, connects analysis to strategy, and anticipates where the business needs to go
  • Analytical Rigor: Uses data to develop insights, test assumptions, quantify opportunities, and make financially sound recommendations
