Job description

  • Performing a variety of technical functions in support of engineering activities such as troubleshooting, test, modification, assembly, and maintenance and repair of electronic systems and other specialized avionics equipment
  • Evaluating components, subsystems, test equipment, and software
  • Providing technical support to Air Force customers on operations and maintenance of assigned communications/surveillance equipment
  • Performing aircraft installation, troubleshooting, and testing of equipment
  • Supporting aircraft flight test and engineering evaluations of new systems and system configurations
  • Assisting in training junior level electronics technicians and Air Force personnel to perform general fabrication, assembly, test and evaluation, and documentation tasks

  • Minimum of four years’ aircraft avionics maintenance experience, JTWS equipment experience, or equivalent DoD SIGINT experience

  • Must be able to operate as a single maintainer at either CONUS or OCONUS locations to include hostile areas


  • Eight plus years of experience with AFSOC, AF or DoD SIGINT/COMINT, EW, Guidance & Control or Comm/Nav systems
  • Knowledge of AF and AFSOC organizational structure
  • Knowledge of DoD SIGINT/COMINT employment concepts, familiarity with USAF, AFSOC aircraft  maintenance concepts, practices, and procedures
  • CompTIA Security+ certified. If not certified, earn certificate within one year

SRC IS A CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S. GOVERNMENT. THIS POSITION WILL REQUIRE U.S. CITIZENSHIP AS WELL AS A U.S. GOVERNMENT SECURITY CLEARANCE AT THE TOP SECRET / SCI LEVEL.
