Role Overview

Initio Sphere is seeking qualified finance professionals to join as Certified Deal Intelligence Analysts.

This is not a traditional employment role. Analysts operate as independent contractors and are activated through Initio Sphere’s certification, verification, and approval process.

Once approved, Deal Intelligence Analysts:

  • Are promoted within the Initio Sphere platform

  • Gain access to live deal flow and paid intelligence-driven analytical work

  • Support investors, fund managers, and operators by transforming deal data into actionable insights

  • Contribute to screening, diligence, and transaction decision-making

  • Build a verified deal track record and Analyst Rating Score

Analyst Levels & Pay RangesSenior Deal Intelligence Analyst
  • Rating Score: 90–100

  • Pay: $150–$200/hour

What You’ll Do (Approval-Based)

Deal Intelligence Analysts are engaged based on category-specific approvals, earned through assessment and performance—not tenure.

Deal Screening & Intelligence
  • Analyze inbound deal opportunities and preliminary investment data

  • Identify key value drivers, risks, and red flags early in the deal process

  • Support go/no-go decisions through structured deal insights

  • Track deal progress and update intelligence as transactions evolve

Financial Modeling & Valuation
  • Build and maintain 3-statement financial models

  • Perform DCF, LBO, and transaction-level valuation analyses

  • Conduct commercial real estate and operating company underwriting

  • Run sensitivity, scenario, and downside analyses

  • Prepare comparable company and precedent transaction analyses

  • Develop football field valuation summaries

Due Diligence & Investment Support
  • Perform Quality of Earnings (QoE) analysis

  • Support commercial, financial, and operational diligence

  • Assess transaction and execution risks

  • Contribute to investment memos, IC materials, and deal briefings

Analysts may only perform work in categories for which they are explicitly approved.


How Analysts Start Earning
  1. Complete the Analyst Certification Assessment or approved training

  2. Receive category-specific approvals (Deal Intelligence, Modeling, Valuation, Due Diligence)

  3. Become verified on the Initio Sphere platform

  4. Begin earning immediately through hourly projects and live deal intelligence work

No cold applications. No unpaid “experience.”
Verified Deal Intelligence Analysts are actively promoted to investors and deal sponsors.


Certification & Eligibility

To qualify, candidates must meet at least one of the following:

  • Score ≥70% in at least one category of the Analyst Certification Assessment

  • Completion of Initio Sphere Financial Training

  • Active professional credential (CFA, CPA, Series 7, 63, 79, or equivalent)


Analyst Rating Score

Each analyst receives a 0–100 Analyst Rating Score, which determines:

  • Platform visibility and access to live deal flow

  • Approved work categories

  • Recommended hourly rates

Scores are dynamically updated based on analytical rigor, insight quality, and client feedback.


Compensation & Deal Terms
  • Analysts operate as independent contractors, not employees

  • Hourly rates depend on Rating Score and approval level

  • Analysts may earn up to 10% of the first $100,000 in transaction fees

  • Maximum deal-based earning: $2,500 per transaction

  • Payments issued only after successful deal completion and fee collection

  • Initio Sphere reserves the right to revoke approvals for quality or compliance issues

Deal Intelligence Analysts do not:

  • Provide investment advice

  • Solicit or sell securities

  • Represent Initio Sphere in a regulated capacity

All work is limited to analytical, diligence, and intelligence support functions and must comply with applicable securities laws.
