Job / Position Title: STRATEGIC PARTNER LEAD

Job Description:

GDIT is seeking a position for a Strategic Partner Lead (Marine Special Operations Command (MARSOC)) managing and supporting United States Special Operations Command (USSOCOM) and USSOCOM's subordinate commands, with a specific focus on MARSOC requirements. The Strategic Partner Lead (MARSOC) will be responsible for Mission Integration Coordination and Collaboration across MARSOC and its strategic partners driving mission-focused synergy and efficiency across tasks to optimize user experience and mission value across Special Operations Forces (SOF) requirements. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing Special Operations and MARSOC projects and leading cross-functional teams.

RESPONSIBILITIES - MEANINGFUL WORK AND PERSONAL IMPACT

  • Responsible for Mission Integration Coordination and Collaboration across MARSOC and its strategic partners within USSOCOM.
  • Drives mission-focused synergy and efficiency across tasks through cross-functional processes to optimize performance and mission value across Special Operations Forces (SOF) requirements.
  • Drives collaboration/interoperability across Team GDIT and with MARSOC and its Strategic Mission Partners (also industry and academia) to address their objectives, solve problems, and drive continual improvement.
  • Maintains all Knowledge Management capabilities for processes, procedures, and tools to manage organizational information.
  • Leverage established relationships and engage MARSOC leadership, stakeholders, and Strategic Partners to define business needs, identify gaps/ challenges; document outcomes to enhance customer experience (USASOC/JSOC, MARSOC, AFSOC, SOCOM/TSOC/SOLIC, WARCOM)
  • Reports to the program's Operations Manager and coordinates directly with the Mission Integration Cell Coordinator to analyze lessons learned and best practices to provide solutions to current and future customer needs and priorities to drive efficiency and interoperability between USASOC and its strategic partners.
  • Coordinate with Task Area Leads to design innovative solutions that meet technical requirements, enhance customer experience, and supports change management activities to successfully implement CCI2 initiatives.
  • Leverages insight gathered through MARSOC, and USSOCOM customer engagements to proactively inform task and project planning and effectively assemble teams to ensure rapid project planning development and concurrent deployment readiness
  • Ensures assessment of current strategic and operational planning efforts to verify appropriate concepts, capabilities, technologies, and non-materiel solutions have been identified/incorporated to enhance the existent, emergent, and re-emerging threats to increase the effectiveness of SOF operations.
  • Special Operations Customer and Stakeholder Management; building and maintaining strong relations with customers and stakeholders, managing customer expectations, addressing their concerns, and resolution of issues.
  • Communication and Reporting; keep customers, stakeholders and internal business senior leadership informed of program status, progress, risks and issues.
  • Process Improvement; implementing best practices and process improvements to enhance program / project delivery.
  • On Program Growth and Strategic New Business Growth Initiatives; identify, plan and pursue opportunities for on program growth, and strategic new business growth opportunities, and initiatives within the USSOCOM customer market segment in coordination, and collaboration with the Defense Growth Team.

QUALIFICATIONS - WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

  • Education: Bachelor of Arts / Science
  • Required Experience: Five (5) + Years Management experience managing US Special Operations requirements, and projects
  • Required Technical Experience: 15 + Years experience supporting U.S. Special Operations Forces (SOF) in SOF Core Mission Areas and SOF Core Operations (Military, Government Civilian or Industry) (USASOC experience preferred)
  • Security Clearance Level: Requires Top Secret Clearance required to start
  • US Citizenship required
  • Travel Required for this Role (50 to 75%)
  • Location: Hybrid work location, Fayetteville, North Carolina
The likely salary range for this position is $106,250 - $143,750. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
