Job Description
Ameriprise Financial is looking to add a Senior Analyst Implementation Analyst to the team! This position will focus upon implementing and enhancing data and analytical methods. Position will also develop and maintain data analytical structures and systems and reports across Finance, as well as assist with the automation of analytical workflows within the Finance organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and support analytics and reports across Ameriprise Finance Department. Assist in the automation of analytical workflows within the Finance Organization.
  • Partner with business and technology to model analytical workflows and reports within the organization. Design and implement data storage and retrieval solutions to assist Finance in their current activities.
  • Analyze performance of analytics and reports. Investigate unexpected results, for example issues with data quality of inputs. Provide feedback on how to resolve issues and improve analytical performance.
  • Communicate results to the business, identify model limitations and possible remediations.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative finance, Computer science, math, physics, or other appropriate fields.
  • 3+ years' experience performing analytical analysis or development of models.
  • Ability to program in python and some fluency with data and data management concepts. Some familiarity with common Software Engineering Development and Production Practices.
  • Working understanding of Financial concepts.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experienced in developing data-driven conclusions and recommendations.
  • Ability to work in an environment with multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently; self-starter.
  • In-depth knowledge of business operations and processes with ability to articulate these processes to others.
  • Information management acumen including desktop application and data modeling skills.

In-Office Collaboration

Base Pay Salary
The estimated base salary for this role is $81,700- $112,300/year. We have a pay-for-performance compensation philosophy. Your initial total compensation may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and geographical work location. In addition, most of our roles are eligible for variable pay in the form of bonus, commissions, and/or long-term incentives depending on the role. We also have a competitive and comprehensive benefits program that supports all aspects of your health and well-being, including but not limited to vacation time, sick time, 401(k), and health, dental and life insurances.
