About the Opportunity

Our client is looking for a Collections Specialist to join a fast-paced team handling late-stage commercial accounts. This role focuses on resolving higher-risk accounts through communication, problem-solving, and strategic follow-up.

Key Responsibilities for the Collections Specialist
  • Manage a portfolio of approximately 100 highly delinquent accounts (200+ days past due)
  • Make 30–50 outbound calls daily to customers regarding outstanding balances
  • Negotiate payment arrangements and drive account resolution
  • Escalate accounts to legal or repossession when appropriate
  • Perform research and skip tracing to locate customers
  • Prioritize accounts based on exposure and risk
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all account activity
