This person will have the opportunity to influence how the organization operates, implement smarter systems and processes, and help position the business for its next phase of growth.

T

he company has experienced substantial expansion since its recent ownership transition and is on pace for approximately $60M in revenue this year, with the potential to reach $100M+ over the next 18 months through a combination of organic growth and potential acquisitions.

The Role

Reporting directly to the President, the Finance Leader will oversee the company's accounting and financial planning functions while serving as a key member of the leadership team.

The organization currently has a lean, capable finance team, including one direct report. This role will have significant visibility across the business and the autonomy to improve processes, systems, reporting, and decision-making.

The successful candidate will be someone who can move beyond simply producing financial statements and instead use finance as a tool to improve the entire business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and FP&A activities.
  • Partner directly with the President and leadership team on strategic and operational decisions.
  • Provide financial insight and analysis to support growth initiatives, customer opportunities, and capital allocation.
  • Develop and improve budgets, forecasts, financial models, and management reporting.
  • Oversee manufacturing accounting, including inventory, costing, and related financial mechanics.
  • Identify opportunities to automate manual processes and improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial operations.
  • Maximize the capabilities of the company's ERP and financial systems, including NetSuite.
  • Lead initiatives around payroll, collections, reporting, and other financial workflows.
  • Explore and implement emerging technologies, including AI-enabled tools and automation, to help the organization work smarter.
  • Manage and develop the existing finance team.
  • Establish scalable processes and controls to support rapid organizational growth.
  • Serve as a financial coach and thought partner to the President and broader leadership team.
  • Contribute to cross-functional business improvement initiatives beyond the traditional finance function.
  • Support due diligence, integration, and financial analysis related to potential acquisitions.

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate is a high-energy, confident finance professional who enjoys building, improving, and solving problems.

You should be comfortable operating in a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly and where you're expected to roll up your sleeves while also thinking strategically.

Required Experience

  • Significant accounting and finance experience, ideally with a progression through increasing levels of responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing accounting, inventory, and costing.
  • Experience with FP&A, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Experience working directly with senior executives or business leadership.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes and leverage technology to automate financial workflows.
  • Experience with ERP systems; NetSuite experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and workstreams in a growing organization.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to join a company at an exciting inflection point.

  • Significant revenue growth and a clear path toward $100M+ in revenue.
  • Potential for additional growth through strategic acquisitions.
  • An entrepreneurial and energetic leadership team.
  • A lean organization where your contributions will have visible impact.
  • Opportunity to modernize financial systems, processes, and technology.
  • Exposure to virtually every aspect of the business.
  • Opportunity to help shape the finance function as the company scales.
  • New facility expansion supporting the company's continued growth.
  • A leadership team that values people who bring ideas, challenge the status quo, and make things happen.
