Position Title: Collections Specialist
Location: Scottsdale, Arizona
Engagement Type: Contract
Work Mode: Hybrid (5 days per week in-office during initial training, transitioning to 3 days in-office / max 2 days work-from-home)

Role Overview
A Collections Specialist is needed to support corporate billing and collections operations during a high-volume peak period. This role focuses on executing high-volume customer outreach to resolve delinquent balances, analyzing account risks, and collaborating across internal departments to support cash flow goals while delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
• Execute a high volume of daily inbound and outbound calls and emails to efficiently resolve delinquent balances and secure payments.
• Maintain high accuracy and speed while navigating multiple account queues to meet daily and weekly productivity goals.
• Professionally communicate with and address the concerns of high-value accounts by thoroughly reviewing account details and collaborating across internal teams.
• Perform account analysis to proactively identify potential risks and present mitigation solutions to management.
• Review and respond to customer inquiries across multiple queues.
• Work with supervisors to prioritize process improvements and stay current on function-related developments.
Required Skills & Experience
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in Business/Corporate Collections.
• Demonstrated knowledge of standard billing and collections procedures.
• Technical proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace applications (including Gmail, GDrive, MS Excel/Google Sheets, and MS Word/Google Docs).
• Excellent time management skills with acute attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal skills, problem-solving capabilities, and adaptability to rapid operational changes.
Preferred Skills
• Experience with process improvement initiatives within a corporate finance structure.
• Demonstrated resourcefulness in utilizing available tools to overcome operational challenges.
Additional Details
• Schedule: 40 hours per week, 8 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
• Work Arrangement: Full-time onsite (5 days/week) in the Scottsdale office during the initial training period, with an opportunity to transition to a hybrid schedule (3 days onsite, up to 2 days remote).
