Job description

Our client, a media entertainment company, is looking for a Collections Analyst to join their team! This will be a onsite role working out of their office in Louisville. The successful candidate will have Bachelors degree with experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Billing.
Role Overview:
  • Contract Role: 9 months
  • Pay: $23.69/hr on W2
Responsibilities:
  • Proactively contact customers to resolve discrepancies, ensure timely payments, and maintain strong professional relationships to support client financial targets.
  • Prepare, analyze, and present key financial reports, including cash forecasts, aging reports, and discrepancy logs to support management decision-making.
  • Partner with internal departments, stakeholders, and the Order to Cash (OTC) team to resolve payment delays, manage account holds, and streamline the month-end close process.
  • Maintain accurate records, support audit requirements, manage AR ledgers, and embrace technological advancements and AI solutions to improve operational efficiency.
  • Oversee and manage a high-value Ad Sales collections portfolio for Local TV Stations to ensure optimized cash flow and minimal bad debt risk.
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance with experience in Accounts Receivable, Credit, Collections, or Billing.
  • Strong expertise in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word) and familiarity with ERP/financial systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle), alongside a solid understanding of basic accounting principles.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, paired with strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively manage discrepancies and stakeholder relationships.
  • Proven capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment by multi-tasking, meeting critical deadlines, and adapting positively to organizational changes and transformation.
