Responsibilities
Performs administrative support functions related to accounts receivable, billing, collections and revenue support to meet company goals. Supports collections team by completing administrative functions to reduce barriers for collections.
Duties and Responsibilities:
  1. Researches accounts for billing accuracy adjusting discrepancies as needed.
  2. Prepares and reviews paperwork for attorney, write-off, and/or cut off processes.
  3. Handles returned mail, skip tracing to locate alternate billing addresses.
  4. Assists with termination of services process. Including communicating with facility staff and pharmacy Executive Director.
  5. Performs outbound introductory calls to new customers daily.
  6. Works with billers to review accounts.
  7. Serves as a back-up to collections team to cover absences.
  8. Checks for Medicaid eligibility.
  9. Analyzes accounts receivable aging and individual accounts
  10. Assists with special projects as needed.
  1. Minimal travel including overnight stay as necessary.

Qualifications
  • High School diploma or equivalent. Associates degree in accounting or business or related field preferred.

Certifications:
  • Pharmacy Technician National Certification preferred.

Experience:
  • Three (3) to five (5) years' billing and/or collections experience. Healthcare, senior living industry, pharmacy or long-term care environment preferred.
  • Minimum one (1) year multi-facility experience preferred.
  • QS1 and Docutrack experience preferred.
  • Exemplary computer skills that include knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite of products.
