Description Performs professional library work planning, developing, coordinating, and evaluating library services and outreach provided through the Lynchburg Public Library's Bookmobile. The successful candidate will be responsible for collection development, programming, community outreach, and the supervision and evaluation of Bookmobile staff. Works collaboratively with the Bookmobile Manager of Operations to ensure effective, responsive, and high-quality Bookmobile service.

Education and Experience Master's Degree in Library and Information Science from an American Library Association (ALA) accredited institution required. Strong knowledge of the principles and methods of modern library service, including automated systems, collection development, programming, outreach, and digital resources. Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication, organizational, leadership, and public engagement skills. Additional Requirements Must successfully complete IS100 and IS700 National Incident Management (NIMS) training within 90 days of employment.
May also be required to complete higher levels of NIMS training as determined appropriate for the position. Must have a valid driver's license and an acceptable driving record in accordance with City standards. City Driving Criteria.
