WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT FOR US

For Testing Services department, we are hiring a Lead Testing Services Consultant who is a highly skilled professional in areas of testing engineering, consulting, and operation of SaaS solutions with fucus on continuous testing, efficiency, test automation and innovations to ensure reliable service delivery to SimCorp clients.

You will have a great opportunity to use your test expertise to contribute globally to delivery, development and optimization of our services (Continuous Testing and Conventional Upgrade).

To be effective in this role, the Lead Testing Services Consultant should possess leadership skills, encourage and promote continuous learning and improvement practices based on Agile & Lean methodology and DevOps practices, employ creative and innovative approaches in testing with AI applications, and collaborate with local and global teams within SimCorp.

WHAT YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

  • Lead testing activities for implementation or upgrade projects, ensuring effective planning, execution, and reporting at the team level.
  • Work with clients to coordinate test cycles, align expectations, and drive success in project delivery.
  • Perform indepth test analysis and design, ensuring coverage for complex business workflows.
  • Lead crossunit collaboration at SimCorp to reduce delivery dependencies and resolve impediments.
  • Own deviation management from identification through closure, ensuring high quality of defect reporting.
  • Lead regular client meetings, guiding them through the full testing lifecycle.
  • Mentor team members, contribute to CoPs, and support continuous development of capability across teams.
  • Drive knowledge transfer activities, structured training, and cross-team collaboration.

WHAT WE VALUE

  • Solid understanding of enterprise-level software delivery, SDLC & STLC, and testing quality governance.
  • 5+ years of experience in testing, business analysis, or consulting roles on complex/financial systems.
  • Extensive experience applying Agile frameworks at a project team level.
  • Experience working in the financial domain, including delivery of testing or consulting activities for financial institutions or enterprise financial platforms.
  • Experience of working with SimCorp Dimension is highly beneficial.
  • Experience coordinating testing activities across multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to support and promote automation, efficiency and adoption of AI strategy within the team.
  • Proficient SQL and data analysis expertise.
  • ISTQB or other relevant qualifications.
  • Upperintermediate English or above.
  • Methodological approach and a solution-focused attitude
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision as well as in cross-functional teams
