Mold & Asbestos Analyst

SERVPRO Environmental Services – Portland, Vancouver
Full-Time | Monday–Friday
Compensation: Based on Experience and Qualifications

About the Position

SERVPRO Environmental Services is looking for a motivated, dependable individual to join our growing Portland operation as a Mold & Asbestos Analyst.

No previous asbestos microscopy or laboratory experience is required. We will train the right person.

This is an opportunity to get in on the ground floor of a growing environmental testing operation with the potential for career advancement as TECHTRON expands.

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and analyze asbestos samples using PLM microscopy
  • Analyze mold and other environmental samples
  • Accurately document and report laboratory results
  • Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, and records
  • Follow established laboratory and quality-control procedures
  • Help ensure accurate and timely sample turnaround
  • Communicate professionally with customers when needed

What We’re Looking For

Must have a driver's license and be eligible for insurance.

  • Comfortable working with computers and technical equipment
  • Good communication and customer-service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Environmental, restoration, construction, science, or laboratory experience is helpful, but not required.
