What are cohorts?

Cohorts are groups of individuals who share a common characteristic or experience within a defined period. In the context of education or research, a cohort typically refers to a group of students or participants who begin a program, study, or trial at the same time and progress through it together. Cohort analysis is often used to track the progress, behaviors, or outcomes of these groups over time, which can help in understanding trends and making informed decisions. Cohorts are useful in fields like education, epidemiology, and marketing for analyzing the effects of interventions or changes over specific timeframes.

What is the difference between Cohort vs Data Analyst?

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Cohort, and why are they important?

I'm sorry, but 'Cohort' is not a recognized professional job title, so I cannot provide an accurate answer for the skills and qualifications required.

How does a Cohort Analyst typically collaborate with other departments to ensure data-driven decision making?

A Cohort Analyst often works closely with teams such as marketing, product management, and customer success to interpret and share cohort analysis insights. They collaborate by providing actionable reports on user behavior over time, helping other departments identify trends and opportunities for improvement. Regular meetings and cross-functional projects are common, enabling analysts to tailor their findings to the specific needs of each team. This collaborative approach ensures that strategic decisions are supported by accurate, timely data.

What is a Cohort job?

A Cohort job typically refers to a structured program where a group of individuals, known as a cohort, are hired or trained together. These programs are often used by companies, universities, or organizations to foster collaboration, mentorship, and skill development. Cohort jobs are common in internships, graduate training programs, and fellowship initiatives. Participants often progress through the program simultaneously, benefiting from shared learning experiences and networking opportunities.

Job description

Who We Are.
At We Insure Group, we are passionate, driven, and purposeful in our mission to personalize protection at the right value. We believe in delivering tailored insurance solutions that meet each client's unique needs, ensuring they feel confident and supported in every decision.
As both a franchise platform and direct insurance provider, We Insure empowers like-minded entrepreneurs with the opportunity to own and operate successful agencies. With over 200 locations across 35 states, we support our agency owners, customers, and carrier partners by enabling faster service, greater efficiency, better choices, and improved results.
What sets us apart? We're data-driven for better value and people led for better service. Our purpose is rooted in clarity, guidance, and long-term trust helping individuals and business owners make informed choices about their insurance coverage. We're building something meaningful and looking for purpose-driven individuals to help lead the way.
Ready to Own Your Future?
Are you a recent college graduate or early career professional (0-5 years out of school) who wants to build a real business with real financial rewards? We Insure is looking for motivated, business-minded people to join our Summer 2026 Franchise Owner Cohort.
This is a chance to own your own Property & Casualty insurance franchise. You will operate as your own boss, set your own goals, and build long-term financial stability. You will be part of a group of peers, all starting together, sharing knowledge and support from day one.
Currently Targeting These Specific States.
  • AL, CO, CT, FL, GA, IN, KY, NE, NC, NV, OH, PA, SC, TN, and TX

About the Program.
  • Launch and own your own insurance franchise with We Insure as your partner.
  • Join a selected group of 5 to 10 new and recent grads who will form a close-knit peer cohort.
  • Complete your P&C licensing prior to the cohort start date to prepare for selling and building your book of business.
  • Participate in a dedicated 12 month training and launch program, starting with a two week onsite training in Austin, Texas, followed by ongoing support. The first 90 days are high-touch with daily support, along with weekly one on one coaching and regular group calls for support and problem solving.
  • Enjoy direct mentorship from Jay Wolfberg, We Insure President, who personally built a $32 million franchise book.
  • Extensive marketing and sales training, plus resources to help you find your first customers and start building your own book of business.
  • There is no upfront franchise fee to join the program. The franchise fee is deferred and paid at the end of year one.
  • This is a commission based role, so participants should plan for a ramp up period as they build their book of business.

About You.
  • You are 0-5 years out of college and interested in entrepreneurship and wealth building
  • You enjoy working with people, problem solving, and you are comfortable with sales, networking, or persuasion
  • You are motivated to own your success, help your community, and are willing to learn new skills
  • Prior business, sales, team, club, or leadership experience a plus, but attitude and drive are most important
  • You are able to support yourself financially while you build your business. This is not a salaried or hourly role. Owners must have or be able to secure access to sufficient capital to cover start up costs and personal expenses until the business is profitable (reduced start up fees are available for this cohort).

Important Note.
  • This opportunity is not employment. It is for self-driven entrepreneurs who want both near-term income and the chance to build long-term wealth. If you need a regular paycheck to pay your bills without working for yourself, this may not be the ideal fit.

How to Apply.
  • Please send your resume and a brief statement explaining why you are interested in joining the We Insure Cohort for Summer 2026. Selected applicants will be invited to join an intro call and a group Q&A with program mentor Jay Wolfberg, President at We Insure.

The cohort program begins in Summer 2026. Start your application now to secure your spot and take control of your future!
