Job description

Sr.Python and Snowflake Developer
This role involves designing developing and optimizing data solutions using Snowflake and Python technologies. The candidate will work in a hybrid model collaborating with teams to ensure seamless data integration and processing. The position requires expertise in Snowflake SQL Snowpipe and Python with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement scalable data solutions using Snowflake and Python to meet business requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze data requirements for optimized solutions.
  • Design and maintain Snowflake tasks streams and pipelines to ensure efficient data processing and integration.
  • Optimize Snowflake SQL queries for performance and reliability in large-scale data environments.
  • Implement and manage Snowpipe for real-time data ingestion and processing workflows.
  • Provide technical expertise in Python scripting for data manipulation and automation tasks.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot Snowflake environments to ensure system stability and performance.
  • Document technical processes and workflows to maintain clarity and consistency across projects.
  • Ensure adherence to best practices in data security governance and compliance standards.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $ 80,000 - $ 145,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans.
