About the role
The Marketing Generalist is responsible for supporting the execution of Ascension Coffee marketing initiatives across cafés, catering, retail coffee, events, and digital channels. This role combines marketing coordination with hands-on design and project management responsibilities. The ideal candidate is highly organized, creative, detail-oriented, and comfortable producing marketing assets using Adobe Creative Suite.
This position reports to the President/CEO and works closely with Operations, Culinary, Training, Catering, and Café Leadership teams.
What you'll do
Marketing Coordination
• Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns and promotions.
• Coordinate project timelines and deliverables across departments and vendors.
• Support local café marketing efforts and retail coffee initiatives.
Graphic Design & Layout
• Design menus, promotional flyers, café signage, table tents, posters, and event collateral.
• Create graphics for social media, email marketing, websites, and promotions.
• Ensure brand consistency across print and digital materials.
• Prepare print-ready files and coordinate with production vendors.
Website & Digital Support
• Assist with social media calendars and scheduling photoshoots.
• Assist with website updates and menu revisions in conjunction with partners.
• Support e-commerce initiatives and product promotion.
• Track review scores and customer feedback.
• Support marketing reporting and competitive research.
Qualifications
• 2-4 years of marketing, communications, or graphic design experience.
• Hospitality, restaurant, or retail experience preferred.
• Strong design and layout skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite preferred.
• Excellent communication and project management skills.
• Highly organized and detail-oriented.
