Job description

POSITION SUMMARY

As a valued member of the Community HealthCare System (CHCS) team, this individual is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service by greeting guests, preparing and serving coffee and other beverages, and managing operations of the Coffee and Gift Shop.

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Open and close the Coffee and Gift Shop according to the established procedures.

Oversee the daily operations of the shop.

Provide exceptional customer service - greet customers, take orders and prepare beverages with care.

Operate and maintain high-end coffee equipment and point-of-sale (POS) systems

Accurately manage the cash drawer and complete daily balancing.

Run sales and inventory reports as needed.

Monitor, maintain and order coffee shop inventory as directed.

Mentor and train new and current baristas on drink preparation, customer service, and use of POS systems.

Keep the work area, equipment, and seating areas clean and sanitized.

Assist with gift shop sales and customer needs when necessary.

Communicate any issues or suggestions to the Communications Director.

Adhere to CHCS polices, values and mission in all tasks and interactions

Supports and abides by the mission, values, and policies of CHCS in all activities.

On-going compliance with CHCS educational requirements.

Arrives on time and ready to work.

All other duties as required.
