Job description

Job Purpose:
As an on-call/per diem Coffee Shop Attendant in a hospital setting, your main goal is to provide friendly and efficient service when needed to fill in on day shift (No weekends) by preparing and serving beverages and food items. You'll be interacting with customers, employees, and physicians, ensuring everyone has a pleasant experience at the coffee shop.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages and food items with a smile.
- Interact with customers, employees, and physicians to create a welcoming atmosphere.
- Take orders accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the coffee shop.
- Stock food items and ensure everything is well-organized.
- Handle cash registers with precision.
- Assist with food preparation as needed.

Required Education:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required and must be verifiable!
Required Experience:
- Prior experience working in a coffee shop or as a barista
- Experience in a customer-facing role, preferably in a fast-paced environment
Required Skills and Abilities:

- Available to work when needed (Day Shift, no weekends)
- Proficient in cash handling and using a cash register
- Ability to prepare made-to-order drinks with accuracy and speed
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and organization in the work area
- Good communication skills for interacting with customers, employees, and physicians
- Ability to stock food items efficiently and assist with food preparation when needed
