As a Physician Coding Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and efficient coding of medical services, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards. Responsibilities

  • Oversee the coding process for physician services, ensuring accurate and timely submission of claims

  • Develop and implement coding policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards

  • Conduct regular audits to identify and correct coding errors, and implement corrective actions to prevent future errors

  • Collaborate with healthcare providers and coders to ensure accurate and complete coding of medical services

  • Stay up-to-date with changes in coding regulations and industry standards, and apply this knowledge to improve coding processes and outcomes

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve coding accuracy and efficiency

  • Provide educational training and support to coders and healthcare providers on coding policies and procedures

Requirements

  • CPC credential is required
