Who are we looking for?
We're looking for an enthusiastic Code Sensei to join our team.
This role is perfect for a recent graduate or college student who enjoys technology, loves working with children, and wants to develop teaching and leadership skills.
You don't need years of experience-we'll teach you our curriculum and coaching methods. What matters most is your attitude, reliability, willingness to learn, and ability to build positive relationships with children and parents.
If you're energetic, patient, dependable, and enjoy helping kids succeed, we'd love to meet you.
What you'll do
  • Learn the Code Ninjas curriculum through our structured training program.
  • Coach and guide students as they work through coding projects and challenges.
  • Help children build confidence, problem-solving skills, and a love of technology.
  • Create a fun, welcoming, and safe learning environment.
  • Support new students during trial sessions and provide feedback to parents.
  • Encourage students while maintaining high learning standards.
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures.
  • Keep the dojo clean, organized, and ready for classes.
  • Work closely with the Center Director and Lead Senseis as part of a supportive team.

What we're looking for
  • Recent high school graduate, college student, or recent graduate (preferred).
  • Available Tuesday through Friday, approximately 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM
  • Reliable transportation to and from work.
  • Enjoys working with children ages 5-14.
  • Friendly, outgoing, and professional personality.
  • Patient, encouraging, and able to communicate clearly with both children and parents.
  • Basic understanding of computers and technology.
  • Working knowledge of block-based coding and basic JavaScript.
  • Willingness to learn new technologies and teaching techniques.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team.

Bonus (Not Required)
  • Experience with coding, robotics, Minecraft, Roblox Studio, Python, or game development.
  • Previous tutoring, coaching, mentoring, or customer service experience.
