Job description

Job Description Summary:

The Director, Coca-Cola Freestyle Marketing will develop and manage consumer marketing and innovation strategies and solutions to increase beverage incidence, enhance consumer experience and drive value and profit. This position will play a critical role in the annual business planning process, development of growth, innovation and digital strategies and digital programming. In addition, this role will manage relationships with brands, R&D, commercialization, assets, and other internal and external constituents to support consumer and customer programming. The director will also lead our consumer and customer research to inform future marketing and consumer strategies. We are looking for a highly strategic, collaborative, innovative and results-driven marketing leader with an entrepreneurial spirit, digital mindset, and exceptional communication skills.

What You'll Do for Us

  • Leads the development and implementation of the consumer marketing and innovation strategies in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders to build revenue enhancing concepts.
  • Consults on annual marketing calendar shaping the customer's annual business plan.
  • Develops and executes customer promotions/programs leveraging brand strategies and consumer insights to drive increased consumer preference and customer activity.
  • Nurtures long-term customer relationships and has full ownership of senior level customer relationships to drive sustaining growth and expansion. Serves as subject matter expert at top-to-top customer engagements.
  • Leads performance management on customer and national marketing programs and innovation.
  • Champions customer and Coca-Cola Freestyle imperatives internally and externally to deliver our Customer Commitment of Excellence.
  • Leads consumer and customer research strategies.
  • Leads test and learn analyses powered by Freestyle and other platform data sources, translating data into actionable business insights and recommendations.
  • Drive strategic insights, including fleet-wide performance assessments and opportunity identification, partnering closely with the Director, Testing Analytics.

Qualification & Requirements

  • Minimum Required: Bachelor's degree in Marketing/Business or equivalent education. MBA preferred.
  • 5 or more years of business development experience in a consumer-packaged goods company, agency, or foodservice operator, preferably in both customer management and marketing roles or equivalent marketing leadership experience within the industry.
  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) experience.
  • Advanced Strategic Thinking & Application.
  • Robust Forecasting and Planning.
  • Ability to recognize, understand, and interpret consumer behavior, brand strategies, and customer needs while turning this knowledge into action and results.
  • Demonstrated personal leadership skills and influencing ability.
  • Usage and analytical application of account performance data tools to support plans, opportunities, and stewardships.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with the ability to create persuasive selling stories.
