Job description

JOB SUMMARY
As an essential business, Anomatic produces innovative and sustainable packaging for today’s biggest brands. JOB SUMMARY
This production floor position is responsible for ensuring efficient operation of the lacquer lines. Monitors all steps in the lacquering process, resulting in overall product consistency, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout the shift.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Responsible for setting up the line per job requirements, continuous operation of machines, and mixing and replenishment of paint/lacquer supply.
  • Communicate with team members regarding operating conditions, paint mixture, special problems, etc., that occurred during the shift.
  • Continuously monitors each step of the lacquering process for quality of parts, and performs regular inspections of color, cross-hatching, adhesion, and aesthetic assessment.
  • Cleans machines and performs preventative maintenance.
  • Keeps production team informed throughout the shift on pertinent issues with the processes or parts that could affect production,
  • Maintains a clean line, free of clutter. Stores equipment properly.
  • Performs basic troubleshooting on the line under the direction of the Lacquer Crew Lead.
  • Properly completes required paperwork regarding parts produced, scrap, and paint consumption, and communicates all pertinent issues throughout shift.
  • All other duties as assigned to support production.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Proficient in basic maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Must be able to follow specific instructions for paint measurement and preparation.
  • Computer proficient-Microsoft Windows based computer operation.
  • Must be able to work overtime as needed, sometimes on short notice or on weekends.
  • Ability to use both hands to pick-up and manipulate small parts simultaneously.
  • Willing to take direction from others
  • Capable of standing for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Can successfully work in a team environment.
  • Experience in industrial paint application a plus.
