Our Company
We believe Running Changes Everything. If you believe that, too, we want to talk. With more than 280 stores and a robust e-commerce site, Fleet Feet is the largest running retailer in the country. Catering to more than runners, we pride ourselves on having an inclusive environment! We believe it's a privilege to serve and to deliver unmatched service and support when outfitting every customer. We run together to solve problems, reach goals, encourage others and champion our brand.
Overview:
Are you passionate about running and love helping others achieve their goals? This role is perfect for outgoing, fitness-minded individuals who want to give back to the running community and be part of something meaningful. No formal coaching certification required!
If you're ready to lace up your shoes and help others cross their finish lines, we'd love to have you on the team. Apply now and help us inspire the runner in everyone.
What You'll Do:
  • Support and encourage participants at scheduled training sessions.
  • Assist with day-of logistics such as warm-ups, cool-downs, hydration stations, and safety protocols.
  • Provide basic tips and guidance on topics like pacing, form, and recovery.
  • Collaborate with the Training Program Lead to ensure smooth and enjoyable sessions.
  • Foster a sense of community, inclusion, and camaraderie among participants.
  • Be a visible and positive ambassador for Fleet Feet at all training events.

What We're Looking For:
  • A passion for running, walking, fitness, and building community.
  • Friendly, approachable, and enthusiastic personality.
  • Comfort working with groups and individuals in a coaching/support role.
  • Reliable and punctual with a consistent presence at training sessions.
  • No prior coaching experience necessary-just a love for movement and a desire to help others succeed.

Why You'll Love It Here:
  • Be a Role Model: Inspire others to achieve their goals and enjoy movement.
  • Connect with Community: Make meaningful connections with local runners and walkers.
  • Flexible Commitment: Evening and weekend sessions that fit your schedule.
  • Grow with Fleet Feet: Learn about fitness, coaching, and team leadership in a supportive environment.

  • Exclusive Discounts: Enjoy savings on industry-leading products and specialized training programs.
  • Professional Development: Grow your career through mentorship opportunities, employee resource groups, and ongoing learning sessions designed to help you reach your full potential.
  • Community Engagement: Get involved in local outreach and service initiatives that align with our purpose-driven mission.
