POSITION: Varsity Head Softball Coach EFFECTIVE DATE: Immediately
JOB DESCRIPTION:
* Clinton Central Jr./Sr. High School is seeking an educator with experience teaching the sport of Softball. This individual will place emphasis on developing game fundamentals and building a complete youth to varsity level program.
* Responsible for direct assist in supervising all areas of the Softball program in collaboration with the Youth/Junior High/High School coaching staff.
* Current open teaching positions: TBD
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
* Previous Varsity Head Coaching experience preferred but not required.
* Ability to effectively collaborate with coaches in the Softball Program (Youth/JH/HS) with a passion for successfully leading/teaching student-athletes through Softball.
* Possess knowledge of the sport of softball and coaching fundamentals that translates directly to student-athletes at every level.
* Ability to effectively communicate with parents, student-athletes, staff, administration, and coaches.
* Ability to exhibit high levels of professionalism with all stakeholders in the Softball program and community.
* Ability to organize motivate, supervise, and develop student-athletes and coaches effectively at all levels.
* Foster initiative, self-discipline, teamwork, and the commitment to excellence to Clinton Central Athletics.
* Collaborate with Head Coaches to facilitate and build multi-sport athletes.
* Clearly communicate with individual players and overall team regarding goals, performance and program progress.
* Develop and maintain a healthy, competitive, and rewarding athletic environment.
LICENSE: Valid Indiana Teaching License Preferred but not required.
