Group Coach, Warehouse

Position Summary
Accelevation is seeking a hands-on leader to oversee Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, and Logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the safe, accurate, and efficient flow of materials from receipt through shipment while developing employees, supporting production schedules, and driving continuous improvement across multiple shifts.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, and Material Handling teams
• Drive a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with company and regulatory requirements
• Manage inbound receiving, inventory transactions, material storage, and outbound shipments
• Coordinate transportation, freight carriers, intercompany transfers, and customer deliveries
• Monitor inventory accuracy and support cycle count and material control initiatives
• Lead staffing, training, coaching, performance management, and employee development
• Develop and maintain training matrices and cross-training programs
• Resolve shipping, receiving, and inventory discrepancies with internal teams and suppliers
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, delivery, and cost
• Establish and track department KPIs and ensure achievement of operational goals
Qualifications
• 5+ years of leadership experience in Shipping, Receiving, Warehouse, Logistics, or Manufacturing Operations
• Experience leading hourly teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of inventory management and ERP systems
• Forklift, logistics, transportation, and warehouse management experience preferred
• Lean Manufacturing or Toyota Production System experience is a plus

Physical Demands and Work Environment
Employees must be able to talk, hear, and frequently sit, with occasional standing, walking, reaching, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and crawling. Regular lifting up to 25 lbs and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs is required. Vision requirements include close and color vision and focus adjustment. Work may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, airborne particles, chemicals, electrical hazards, and explosives. Noise levels can be very loud, requiring ear protection.
