Frozen Warehouse Associate / Order Picker

Global Food Corp is looking for a dependable Frozen Warehouse Associate / Order Picker to join our warehouse team in Medley, FL. This role is responsible for picking orders, staging frozen products, loading trucks, and maintaining inventory accuracy in a fast-paced food distribution warehouse.

This position works in a freezer environment and is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, staying active, and being part of a team that keeps orders moving efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick and prepare customer orders using pick lists and warehouse systems
  • Stage frozen food products for shipment
  • Load delivery trucks safely and efficiently
  • Maintain accuracy by scanning and verifying products
  • Ensure proper handling of frozen foods to maintain quality and safety standards
  • Rotate inventory and maintain organized freezer storage areas
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory management
  • Operate pallet jacks and forklifts (if certified)
  • Maintain a clean and safe warehouse environment
  • Support operational activities related to government inspections and export certifications
  • Communicate inventory concerns or scheduling needs with the warehouse supervisor
  • Work with the team to meet daily shipping and delivery schedules

Qualifications
  • Previous warehouse, order picking, or distribution experience preferred
  • Experience working in a freezer or cold storage environment is a plus
  • Forklift certification preferred or willingness to obtain certification
  • Basic computer skills for inventory scanning and order processing
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Physical Requirements
  • Ability to work in a cold freezer environment
  • Standing and walking for extended periods
  • Lifting and moving products up to 50 lbs.
