Job Description The Visual Media Intern will collaborate with our visual media and marketing teams by capturing high-quality photo and video assets for active campaigns, gathering reusable B-roll and generic footage across UC Health's campus and service lines, and reviewing existing footage to surface valuable moments that can be repurposed across future productions. Co-Op students participate in an organized co-op program sponsored by a university. The Co-op student will provide a variety of support tasks while participating in a mentoring and learning environment.

The student may work in different functional areas within IS&T. Responsibilities Creative Development: [SJ1] Strategically capture and produce captivating, engaging video content that effectively articulates the UC Health brand's value proposition, our points of difference, and delivers against business objectives. Responsibilities include: Assist in the capture and production of video content for both internal and external communications across digital, social, and campaign channels Participate in brainstorming sessions, bringing fresh visual thinking and storytelling ideas to creative asks Keep a pulse on trends in the video and content space and proactively bring new thinking to the team Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the Marketing & Communications department Share your footage and creative approach with the supervising videographer and marketing leads, explaining your visual choices and rationale Revise and update existing content based on feedback Support in gathering B-roll and generic footage across UC Health campuses and service lines, ensuring assets are reusable across campaigns Ensure all footage is stored properly and easily accessible by others on the team 50% Project Management: Support video production[SJ2] s with detailed excellence to ensure the delivery of content in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to gather project requirements and objectives, ensuring a clear understanding of project goals and expectations Monitor production progress, track key milestones, and provide regular updates to internal and external stakeholders, maintaining effective communication throughout the project lifecycle Partner with senior creative team members to define project scopes and ensure they are completed on time, on budget, and meet the desired outcome 30% Brand Excellence: Partner with the Creative Director, Marketing & Creative Team to ensure all video content aligns with UC Health's brand identity and organizational growth goals. Responsibilities include: Partner with lead videographer to execute all brand[SJ3] representation by ensuring high standards of visual execution within video content; align all footage and productions with the brand's guidelines, core values, and mission Translate the brand's messaging and values into visually compelling video content Review existing footage and surface assets that align with brand standards and can be repurposed across campaigns and service lines Support the team in maintaining a consistent visual identity across all video deliverables 20% Total Percent Time 100% Qualifications The Co-Op is a current student in a University Sponsored program pursing a degree. Typically the co-op student has completed 1.5 years of College training before assuming a co-op work assignment
