  • Synthesize complex company and market information into clear written recommendations or structured review outputs

Board Materials & Deal Sourcing Workflows

  • Support review of board materials, investor updates, deal notes, sourcing summaries, and investment committee-style materials
  • Evaluate deal sourcing logic, target screening criteria, thesis development, and opportunity prioritization
  • Assess whether materials are clear, concise, well-structured, and appropriate for investor or stakeholder review
  • Prepare clear written feedback based on venture capital judgment and structured evaluation criteria

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in venture capital, growth equity, startup investing, investment banking, private equity, corporate development, or a closely related investment role
  • Experience at a top venture capital firm, investment platform, accelerator, startup investment team, advisory firm, or comparable finance environment
  • Strong experience with market sizing, TAM analysis, investment summaries, board materials, deal sourcing, or startup evaluation
  • Strong analytical judgment and written communication skills
  • Comfort working independently with complex, ambiguous, or fast-moving company and market materials

  • Ability to work independently in a remote, project-based environment

Educational Background

  • A degree in finance, economics, business, engineering, computer science, mathematics, or a related analytical field is helpful
  • Professional experience in venture capital, growth equity, startup investing, private equity, investment banking, corporate development, or strategic finance is highly relevant
  • Equivalent practical experience with startup analysis, deal sourcing, market sizing, investment memos, or board materials may also be valuable

Nice to Have

  • Experience with board materials creation, investment committee materials, investor updates, startup diligence, or fund-level research
  • Familiarity with market sizing, TAM analysis, sector mapping, competitive analysis, and thesis-driven sourcing
  • Experience sourcing deals, screening targets, preparing company profiles, or evaluating early-stage and growth-stage businesses
  • Proficiency with Excel, PowerPoint, investment memos, pitch materials, market research, and business presentation materials
  • Ability to commit at least 10 hours per week depending on project availability and scope

Why This Opportunity

  • Apply venture capital experience to structured remote project work
  • Contribute to high-quality startup analysis, market assessment, investment memo review, and deal workflow evaluation
  • Work on flexible assignments aligned with your investing, market analysis, and strategic judgment background
