Position Overview

We’re expanding our team! I am hiring a biotech & healthcare associate to work alongside me, Steve, Morgan and Sofia in the Bessemer Venture Partners Boston office. If you (or someone in your network) are excited about the future of biotech and healthcare and want to play a key role in identifying and nurturing emerging companies, we encourage you to apply!

Key Responsibilities

Identify and nurture emerging biotech and healthcare companies, analyzing scientific data and communicating with entrepreneurs. Encourage potential investments from seed through growth stages.

Qualifications
  • Strong understanding of biotech R&D and ability to analyze scientific data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Genuine interest in investing in therapeutic startups (seed through growth).
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s in life sciences, bioengineering, bioinformatics/AI, or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum 2+ years of relevant experience, e.g., venture capital, investment banking, management consulting, or an operating role in biopharma.
  • MD, PhD, and/or MBA backgrounds considered, but not required.
