  • Supervise tool room staff, including training, scheduling, and performance management.
  • Oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of all tooling and equipment.
  • Manage inventory of tools, spare parts, and consumables, ensuring adequate stock levels.
  • Implement and enforce safety procedures and best practices within the tool room.
  • Collaborate with production and engineering departments to support manufacturing operations.
  • Develop and maintain accurate records of tooling usage, maintenance, and repair history.

Recommended Qualifications
  • 5+ years experience in a tool room environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven expertise in precision machining, grinding, EDM, and CNC operations.
  • Strong knowledge of tooling design, fabrication, repair, and maintenance.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex engineering blueprints, schematics, and technical specifications.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills, including the ability to train, mentor, and motivate a team.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.
